We’re raising a toast to the Fix-It Dads who keep their homes running like a well-oiled machine. Here are 5 home maintenance MVP moves to keep your home field in championship shape all summer long:

1. Clear Gutters & Downspouts 🍃
   Summer storms can surprise you faster than a playoff buzzer-beater. Make sure your drainage is clear so rain doesn’t end up where it shouldn’t.
2. Check & Seal the Deck
   If it’s been more than two years, your deck might need resealing. A quick water bead test can tell you if it’s time. Just splash on some water—if it soaks in instead of beading up, your deck’s due for a seal.
3. Service Your HVAC ✔️
   Nobody wants to sweat it out during game time. Change your filter every 3 months, at least. Schedule a professional to check refrigerant levels, deep-clean coils, and test electrical components.
4. Power Wash Exteriors
   Give your siding, driveway, and walkways a fresh look. Bonus points if you let the kids “help” and call it a water fight. 😉
5. Inspect & Clean Windows & Doors
   Check for cracked caulk, worn weather stripping, and sticky windows. Hot air sneaking in = higher AC bills. We can help if things aren’t operating as smoothly as they used to.
