Installation the Windura Way

Why do our customers refer us to their friends and neighbors so often and come back to us again and again when they're ready to replace more windows?  It's because our employees (never subcontractors)

specialize in installing windows and doors, every day, the RIGHT way!

And yes, we're going to brag about it.

Happiness. Guaranteed.

RO Step 1 Measure & Inspect Cropped

Step 1: Measure

We've already measured twice at this point, but what's one more - for good measure - to ensure our team has the correct window for the correct opening!  Measure thrice, replace once - isn't that how the saying goes?

RO Step 2 Disassembly Cropped

Step 2: Disassemble

Interior window treatments and trim are carefully removed and retained.  Then we detach and discard the exterior trim, take out the old window and wave goodbye to that drafty piece of history. Don't worry, you won't miss it!  With the opening completely revealed, we thoroughly inspect and repair all underlying damage and rot.

RO Step 2 Avoid Wrap

Friends don't let friends wrap their old window trim!

The average window installer does not remove the old trim.  They simply cover it up with a bulky aluminum wrap and call it a day - leaving lurking damage undetected.  But that's not how WE roll and this is where the Windura installation method really stands apart from the industry average!

RO Step 3

Step 3: Prep & Install

The rough opening has been tidied up and is ready for its new window to be fastened inside.  We'll fill any cavities and crevices with a high density spray foam and seal everything up with butyl window flashing tape. That way, you won't have to worry about any sneaky water leaks ruining your day.

RO Step 4

Step 4: Trim & Seal

Last but not least, we'll apply brand new primed exterior trim around the window's exterior perimeter.  It's termite and wood rot resistant, just like a superhero.  Then, we'll seal everything up with a high performance sealant.  Final touches include caulking the interior, filling nail holes and thoroughly cleaning up our mess.  Click here for painting experts who can apply a fresh, protective coat of paint on the trim and sealant within the first year post-install to keep it sound and looking good.
