Hello Holidays (and Condensation)

As the seasons change and colder weather sets in, you may notice more condensation forming on your windows and doors.  This is a natural result of warm indoor air meeting the cold glass surface.  Condensation happens because warm air holds more moisture, and when it cools, that moisture turns to water droplets on your windows and doors.  

While a little condensation is normal, if you see excessive moisture pooling inside your home, it could indicate higher than ideal indoor humidity levels.  To help minimize this, you can:

• Use exhaust fans in kitchens and bathrooms.
• Keep window treatments open to allow better air circulation.
• Run a dehumidifier if needed.
